Empezamos con sueco haciendo un repaso general de todo lo que hemos dado. Luego tuvimos matemáticas, comimos (cereales, claro) y aprovechamos para mejorar el trabajo de español. La buena noticia es que al acabar química el profesor nos dijo que haríamos un trabajo y a cambio no volvíamos a clase. 

Luego la misma rutina de siempre para volver a casa.

Tuesday, November 24th

We started with Swedish doing a review of everything that we have learned. Then we had maths, had lunch (cereals, of course), and we improved our Spanish project. The good news is that at the end of chemistry lesson the teacher told us that we would do a task instead of going to class the next days.

Then the same old routine back home.

Miércoles, 25 de noviembre

La profesora de matemáticas no estaba, así que empezamos el día exponiendo nuestro trabajo de español. Amy me dijo que lo hicimos muy bien, pero era algo complicado para que lo entendieran.

Nuestra otra hora del día fue inglés, donde preparamos las exposiciones (otra más) del lunes.

Wednesday, November 25th

The math teacher wasn't in school today, so we started our day exposing Spanish. Amy told me that we did it very well, but it was difficult for them to understand it.

Our another lesson of the day was English, where we prepared our exhibitions (one more) on Monday.

Seguimos el repaso en sueco. Fuimos a dar una vuelta al Täby Centrum ya que no tenemos que ir a química y luego seguimos con los números complejos en matemáticas.

No hay mucho que contar de este día, reconozco que aunque llegué temprano a casa me pasé la tarde vagueando.

Thursday, November 26th

We continue reviewing Swedish. We went for a walk to Täby Centrum as we no longer have to go to chemistry and then followed up with complex numbers in mathematics.

Not much to tell about this day, I recognize that even though I arrived home early I spent the whole afternoon lazing.

Viernes, 27 de noviembre

A pesar de lo rutinario de la semana, este día pasaron un montón de cosas inesperadas que merece la pena contar.

Me desperté pronto, a las 7.45. Para esa hora ya se habían ido todos de casa y yo no pillaba el bus hasta las 9.32, así que adelanté un poco el blog.

Cuando era nuestra hora de entrar a matemáticas, Antía aún no había llegado, así que Gael y yo fuimos sin ella. Más tarde nos dijo que se encontraba mal y no iba a ir hoy a clase.

Así que nos tocó comer solos, aunque unos compañeros de clase se sentaron a nuestro lado. Nada parecía fuera de lo normal, hasta que la trabajadora del comedor pasa a mi lado y no sé cómo me tira la suficiente leche encima como para que mi lado izquierdo estuviese completamente mojado. Se sintió muy mal así que me dio una montaña enorme de bombones, que por supuesto compartí con Gael y mis compañeros. Tuve permiso para no ir a educación física porque estaba demasiado mojado para hacer deporte, así que Gael (acompañándome) y yo hicimos mi largo trayecto a casa para cambiarme. Por nuestro camino en medio del monte apareció un perro con ganas de jugar que no nos dejó en paz e incluso entró en casa y tuvimos que echarlo. Como claramente no llegábamos a tiempo fuimos directos a Estocolmo, donde quedamos con Irina y Antía, que ya estaba mejor.

Allí compramos regalos para nuestra familia y amigos españoles.

Friday, November 27th

Although the routine of the week, today happened a lot of unexpected things worth telling.

I woke up early, at 7.45. By that time all my Swedish family was gone and I wasn't catching the bus until 9.32, so I wrote a little on the blog.

When it was our time to go to math, Antía hadn't arrived yet, so Gael and I went without her. Later she told us that she was ill and wasn't going to go to class today.

So we had to have lunch alone, although some classmates sat beside us. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, until the worker of the dining room passed by me and I don't know how she threw me enough milk over so that my left side was completely wet. She felt really bad so she gave me a huge mountain of chocolates, which of course I shared with Gael and my classmates. I was allowed not to go to sports because I was too wet to play sports, so Gael (going with me) and I made my long trip home to change clothes. On our way through the mountain I walk for going home a dog wanting to play with us appeared and din't left us alone and even entered the house and we had to make him go. Of course we didn't reach school in time so we went straight to Stockholm, where he were with Irina and Antía, that was better.

There we bought gifts for our family and Spanish friends.

Sábado, 21 de noviembre

Hoy quedamos todos en Estocolmo. Cuando bajé del bus, ya estaban Antía, Gael e Irina en Tekniska Hogskölan.

Fuimos a un museo sobre la cultura china en Suecia, comimos en el Subway y luego fuimos al Moderna Museet, museo de arte moderna. Siempre me han llamado la atención las pinturas y esculturas vanguardistas, así que me gustó mucho. También había una sala en la que todo se veía de color sepia (aunque en la foto no se aprecie tanto, en la realidad era impresionante).

Luego volví a casa, donde cenamos con unos amigos de la familia. No se fueron hasta la 1, así que estuve con ellos toda la noche.

Domingo, 22 de noviembre

Hoy nos levantamos tarde. Consecuentemente, también desayunamos y comimos unos bocadillos tarde.

Aunque tuve todo el tiempo del mundo, no hice nada en toda la tarde más que hablar con Amy.

Como nos habíamos acostado tarde ayer y mañana madrugaba, me fui a las 20.45 a cama.

Lunes, 23 de noviembre

Me levanté a las 5.45. Normalmente voy con calma hasta clase porque el descuadre de buses hace que tenga una hora muerta hasta entrar en clase, pero los -13º C que había me hicieron espabilar. A primera tuvimos inglés, donde acabamos el trabajo. En alemán hicimos una redacción. Empleamos el resto del tiempo en comer y hacer la presentación para la clase de español.

Luego lo de siempre, llegué a casa, me duché, cene y a cama.

Saturday, November 21st

Today we were all in Stockholm. When I got off the bus, Antía, Gael and Irina were already in Tekniska Högskolan.

We went to a museum about Chinese culture in Sweden, we ate at a Subway and then went to Moderna Museet, the museum of modern art. I have always loved avant-garde paintings and sculptures, so I enjoyed it. There was also a room where everything was sepia (although in the picture is not appreciated but in reality it was amazing).

Then I went home, where we had dinner with some friends of my Swedish family. They didn't leave until 1, so I stayed with them all the night.

Sunday, November 22nd

Today we woke up late. Consequently, we ate some breakfast and sandwiches for lunch late too.

Although I had all the time in the world, I did nothing all afternoon than talk to Amy.

As we went to sleep late yesterday and early in the morning, I went to bed at 20.45.

Monday, November 23rd

I got up at 5.45. I usually go quietly to school because I must wait an hour since I leave the bus, but the -13º C that were outside made me go faster. At first we had English, where we just finished the work. In German we did an essay. We use the remaining time to eat and make the presentation for the Spanish class.

Then as usual, I got home, I showered, dinned and went to bed.

Hoy el bus sí llegó a su hora y no me perdí dos minutos de la clase de sueco. Aprendimos a explicar nuestra rutina matinal de cada día.

A la siguiente hora, no teníamos química, así que fuimos a casa de Elin a empezar otra película. Después comimos en el comedor (solo cereales, como siempre). Acabamos con matemáticas, donde continuamos con números complejos.

Como salimos a las 13.30, por una vez llegué a casa viendo por donde iba.

No hice nada productivo en toda la tarde, porque por la noche llegó el padre de Amy y ya dijo que haría él la cena.

Thursday, November 19th

Today the bus arrived on time, so I didn't miss two minutes of Swedish class. We learned to explain our daily morning routine.

In the following lesson, we had no chemistry, so we went to Elin's home to start another film. After that, we ate in school (only cereals, as always). We ended up with mathematics, where we continue with complex numbers.

As we left at 13.30, for once I got home being able to see where I was going.

I did nothing productive in the whole afternoon, because at night Amy's father came and said he would do the dinner.

Viernes, 20 de noviembre

Como cada viernes, no me levanté hasta las 8.45. Hoy solo tuvimos matemáticas, donde seguimos con lo mismo de estos días, y educación física, donde tuvimos clase de patinaje. No soy un gran experto aún, pero me las voy ingeniando para que cada pierna siga en su sitio.

Como era viernes, fuimos a casa de Elin a acabar de ver la película y después nos fuimos a casa. Hoy llegaba mi madre sueca, así que ya estábamos todos juntos otra vez.

Friday, November 20th

Like every Friday, I didn't get up until 8.45. Today we only had maths where we are doing the same as these days, and sports, where we skated. I'm not an expert yet, but I'm managing to keep each of my legs in its place.

As it was Friday, we went to Elin's home again to finish the movie and then we went home. Today my Swedish mother came home, so we were all together again.

Sé que estoy poniendo muy pocas fotos, pero la verdad es que en días de clase lógicamente no nos vamos a sacar demasiadas.

Lunes, 16 de noviembre

La alarma sonaba a las 5.45, ya que con los padres fuera me tocaba coger los buses y el ferry. Cogí cereales con yogur y a las 6.32 estaba pillando el primer bus. Lo malo es que llego a Roslags Näsby a las 7.19, así que si entro a las 8.20 no me puedo permitir coger el siguiente, por lo que estuve una hora esperando hasta entrar en clase.

Empezamos con inglés, donde continuamos con los trabajos que estamos haciendo. En alemán hicimos entrevistas por parejas.

Luego llegó nuestro descanso enorme (volvimos a comer de Ica). Acabamos con biología y llegué a casa como salí, completamente de noche (cerca de mi casa no hay farolas y yo no tengo linterna, el resto es fácil de imaginar).

Hicimos entre Amy y yo la cena (ella las albóndigas y yo la pasta). Cené, me duché y me fui directamente a cama.

Monday, November 16th

The alarm rang at 5:45, because as Amy's parents are out I had to get the buses and the ferry. I took cereal with yogurt and at 6.32 I was catching the first bus. The trouble is that I get to Roslags Nasby at 7.19, so if I start at 8:20 I can not afford to take the next bus, so I spent an hour waiting to get into class.

We started with English, where we continue with the work we're doing. In German we did interviews in pairs.

Then our huge break came (we returned to eat with Ica food). We ended up with biology and I got home as I left, completely dark (near my house there streetlightsand I don't have a lantern, the rest is easy to guess).

Amy and I made the dinner (she did meatballs and I did pasta). I had dinner, showered and went straight to bed.

Martes, 17 de noviembre

Hoy pude dormir una hora más. A pesar de que, como comenté, el bus llega a y 19, y yo los martes entro a y media, se retrasó lo suficiente como para que llegara dos minutos tarde. Luego tuvimos matemáticas, donde los españoles estamos viendo los números complejos por nuestra cuenta.

En biología hicimos un experimento para ver las células en capas de cebolla. No tuvimos clase de química, con lo que los suecos de nuestra clase nos invitaron a dar una vuelta por el Täby Centrum.

Luego volvimos a casa (en el bus a Vaxholm fui con Sara, una chica de nuestra clase que estudia español, muy maja y que quiere hacer este intercambio el año que viene). Al coger el bus de la isla coincidí con Amy, que había ido a casa de sus abuelos (en Vaxholm) a ver cómo le iba a Malva.

Hoy no estaba Theo para cenar, así que cada uno de los dos se hizo su propia cena. La verdad me salió bastante bien aunque reconozco que mi odio a la sal hizo que le echara demasiada poca a los espaguetis y me quedaran algo sosos.

Tuesday, November 17th

Today I slept an hour more. Although, as I said, the bus arrives at 19 past, and Tuesday I start at half past, it delayed enough for me to come to school two minutes late. Then we had maths, where the Spanish students are seeing complex numbers on our own.

In biology we did an experiment to see the cells of onions. We hadn't chemistry lesson, so Swedish students in our class invited us to walk around the Täby Centrum with them.

Then we returned home (in the Vaxholm bus I went with Sara, a girl in our class studying Spanish, really nice and willing to make this exchange next year). Taking the island bus I met Amy, who had gone to her grandparents' house (in Vaxholm) to see how Malva was going.

Today Theo wasn't for dinner, so each of us made his own dinner. I made it better than expected, although I admit that, as I hate salt, add too little to spaghetti and they remained a little bland.

Miércoles, 18 de noviembre

La noche anterior no pude dormir casi nada y hoy me tocó volver a levantarme antes de las 6.

Hoy tuvimos matemáticas, alemán, nuestro habitual largo descanso (que aprovechamos para comer en el McDonalds mucho tiempo después), otra vez matemáticas e inglés, donde tuve que hablar sobre la historia que habíamos leído.

Salimos un poco tarde, así que Gael y yo pillamos a las carreras el bus hasta Roslags Näsby. Sobre las 17.15 llegué a casa.

Amy está con dolor de cabeza, así que Theo y yo hicimos la cena.

La verdad estoy muy cansado así que hoy aprovecharé para acostarme temprano.

Wednesday, November 18th

Last night I couldn't sleep too much and today I got up before 6 again.
Today we had maths, German, our regular long break (which we used to eat at McDonalds long after), again math and English, where I had to talk about the story that we read.
We left a little late, so Gael and I had to run to get the bus to Roslags Näsby. About 17.15 I got home.
Amy has a headache, so Theo and I made dinner.
I am really tired today, so I'll probably go to bed early

Jueves, 12 de noviembre

Nuestra única clase del día fue sueco, donde más que aprender el idioma planeamos qué íbamos a hacer por la tarde.

Estuvimos explorando zonas nuevas de Estocolmo, pero tras un buen rato buscando unas casas típicas no vimos nada y decidimos ir a comer.

Por la tarde fuimos al edificio donde nos explicaron cómo el barrio de Hammarby tiene un funcionamiento completamente ecológico. Luego hicimos el tonto con unos patos que había por ahí, aunque volvimos a casa temprano.

Viernes, 13 de noviembre

Sienta genial no entrar hasta las 12. Nuestra mañana se resumió en trigonometría. Por la tarde teníamos pensado ir al cine, pero era muy caro así que vimos una película de animación en casa de Elin que me sorprendió para bien mientras nos hinchábamos a chocolate. Empezamos a ver otra, pero no queríamos llegar demasiado tarde a casa así que la dejamos a medias.
Con esto, parece increíble que ya llevemos mitad de nuestra estancia aquí. Aunque he hecho muchísimas cosas, da la sensación de que debería aprovechar el tiempo más.

Sábado, 14 de noviembre

Hoy volvimos a patinar porque me había gustado mucho la última vez. Poco a poco mejoro mucho; de hecho, iba a una velocidad buena sin ayuda de nada ni nadie. No estuvimos tanto tiempo como el otro día porque estaban jugando al hockey sobre hielo y era un poco molesto. Al acabar, tomamos chocolate caliente.

Comimos cuando ya se estaba haciendo de noche y mi estómago estaba al borde del llanto. 

Para preparar la cena, tuvimos que hacerlo entre Amy yo porque los padres cenaban fuera y el hermano estaba jugando al fútbol. Hicimos tacos, y he de decir que me salió mejor de lo que esperaba.

Domingo, 15 de noviembre

Hoy me levanté más o menos temprano, ya que iba a coger el bus para ir hasta Vaxholm, donde había quedado con Irina, Gael y Antía para enseñarles el puerto. Les gustó, pero como no hay mucho que ver, cogimos un café (donde nos hicieron descuento por ser estudiantes) y marchamos a Täby.

Comimos otra vez en el Subway, y acabamos en casa de Elin para terminar de ver la película que dejamos a medias el otro día.

Volvimos temprano a casa, y llegué sobre las 18.20, justo a tiempo para cenar.

Thursday, November 12th

Our only lesson in the day was Swedish, where we planned what we would do in the afternoon more than learning the language.

We were exploring new areas in Stockholm, but after a long time looking for some typical houses we saw nothing and decided to go to eat.

In the afternoon we went to the building where they explained how Hammarby has a completely ecological functioning. Then we were with some ducks right there, but we came home early.

Friday, November 13th

It feels great not starting until 12. Our morning can be summarized in trigonometry. In the afternoon we planned to go to the cinema, but it was very expensive so we saw an animated film in Elin's house (better than I expected) as we became full eating chocolate. We began to see another one, but didn't want to get home too late so we left it.

With this, it seems incredible that it has already been half of our stay here. Although I have done many things, it feels I should take more time.

Saturday, November 14th

Today we skated again because I really enjoyed the last time. Little by little I improved a lot; in fact, I was more or less dast without help from anything or anyone. We weren't there as long as the other day because they were playing hockey and was a bit annoying. At the end, we took hot chocolate.

We ate when it was already getting dark and my stomach was on the verge of tears.

Amy and I prepared dinner because her parents were outside and her brother was playing football. We ate tacos, and I must say I did it better than expected.

Sunday, November 15th

Today I got up much earlier because I would take the bus to Vaxholm, where I was going to meet Irina, Gael and Antía to show them the port. They liked it, but since there is not much to do, we took a coffee (where they made us a discount for being students) and left at Täby.

We ate again in the Subway, and went to Elin's house just to finish watching the movie that left the other day.

We returned home early and arrived around 18:20, just in time for dinner.

Lunes, 9 de noviembre

Otra semana más. Tocaba empezar con inglés, donde nuestra maravillosa profesora nos mandó hacer trabajos sobre países de habla inglesa. Aunque los eligió ella y no me tocó con Gael ni Antía, estoy con dos de las personas más majas que hay en mi clase. Elegimos Papúa Nueva Guinea porque siempre me ha hecho mucha gracia.

En alemán vimos una película y después comenzaba nuestro enorme descanso de los lunes. Terminamos el día con biología, donde seguimos sin hacer nada porque está todo en sueco.

Monday, November 9th

Another week. English started our morning. Our wonderful teacher told us to do projects about English-speaking countries. Although she chose the groups so I'm not withAntía or Gael, I am with two of the nicest people in my class. Papua New Guinea was our choice because it has always made me laugh.

We watched a movie in German and then began our huge break on Mondays. We ended the day with Biology, where we still doing nothing at all because it's all in Swedish.

Martes, 10 de noviembre

Empezamos con sueco, que está muy bien porque es la hora más útil del día de lejos, además de que estamos los cuatro juntos. Después tuvimos matemáticas. Como puedes usar auriculares si trabajas individualmente, nos los pusimos y yo la verdad voy mucho más rápido y me centro más. Debería probarlo en España repasando la práctica en casa. Lo de siempre en biología, y en química faltó el profesor y nos mandaron un pequeño trabajo, que como acabamos enseguida salimos dos horas de clase antes.

Tuesday, November 10th

We started with Swedish, which is fine because it is the most useful time of the day by far, and in addition to that, we are all four together. Then we had mathematics. As you can use headphones if you work individually, I put them on and I'm actually much quicker and I focus more. In Spain I should try it everytime I'm reviewing Maths at home. As usual in biology, and chemistry teacher wasn't there so we did a little project. We left school two hours earlier than expected because we inished fast.

Miércoles, 11 de noviembre

Llegué doce minutos tarde a matemáticas debido al enorme atasco a la entrada de Täby. Después tocó alemán donde estamos viendo adjetivos.

A las doce hoy y mañana se acaban para nosotros las clases porque los suecos tienen una especie de evaluación, así que volvimos a dar una vuelta por Estocolmo. Comimos en Subway (lo cual me encanta) y anduvimos paseando por ahí.

No me he extendido demasiado, pero los días de clase hay pocas cosas que contar que no sea el mismo rollo de siempre.

Wednesday, November 11th

I arrived twelve minutes late to maths becasue of the huge traffic jam entering Täby. Then in German we are studying adjectives.

Today and tomorrow we finish our lessons at 12.00because the Swedish students have a kind of evaluation, so we went again to walk around Stockholm. We ate at a Subway (which I love) and went for a walk.

I haven't written too much, but in school days there are few things to say that are not the same thing as always.

Escalada, pelis y bolos // Climbing, movies and bowling

No quería escribir solo del miércoles y el jueves porque no paso absolutamente nada destacable, así que iba a esperar a juntarlo con este fin de semana. El problema es que en estos tres días ha pasado muchísimo, así que intentaré resumirlo sin soltar un rollo monumental omitiendo el 4 y el 5.

Viernes, 6 de noviembre

El día de hoy pintaba prometedor sabiendo que íbamos a dormir los cuatro juntos y no entrando en clase hasta las 10.50.

Fue un día tan completo que hasta tuvimos examen de matemáticas. Los conceptos eran básicos, pero era de razonar bastante.

Acabamos con educación física. La primera parte de la clase jugamos al softball (algo así como hockey sala) y por increíble que parezca, metí un gol y solo me caí una vez. Luego tuvimos que escalar. Me fue bastante bien hasta que casi arriba del todo llegué a un punto en el que no tenía a donde agarrarme, aunque fue mejor de lo que esperaba. Obviamente me caí cuando toqué el suelo tras bajar. Me tocó sostener a Gael, que aunque cuando estaba subiendo lo hice bien porque era una maniobra muy mecánica, al bajar me levantaba al pesar más que yo.

Luego cogimos el bus y fuimos hasta casa de Irina. Al llegar estábamos solos, y nos pusimos a jugar al Monopoly (donde gané, dicho sea de paso) mientras comíamos chocolate.

Cuando acabamos vimos una película de terror, The Ring. Aunque al principio estaba por coger mis queridos auriculares y esconderme debajo de la manta, me encantó y no me asustó nada.

Es más, me gustó tanto que hasta propuse ver la segunda parte, que si bien no era tan buena, me gustó mucho.

Básicamente hay dos tipos de películas de terror, el terror psicológico y el screamer. El primero, al que pertenecían las dos películas, he descubierto que me gusta muchísimo y se basa más en dar miedo con las emociones de los personajes, la incertidumbre y las sombras. El segundo creo que sería incapaz de verlo, porque da sustos más que otra cosa.

Al acabar la película eran las 6 y nos acostamos todos. Yo no me dormí hasta las 7, cuando ya era de día y estaban Gael, Antía e Irina dormidos.

Friday, November 6th

Today looked like a great day, because we were going to sleep all four together and we weren't starting lessons until 10.50.

It was a day with a little of everything, so we even had a math test. The concepts were basic, but I had to reason a lot.

We ended up with Physical Education. The first part of the class we played softball and surprisingly, I scored and only fell once. Then we had to climb. It was pretty well until I came to a point where I had nowhere to grab me, but it was better than I expected. Obviously I fell when I touched the ground after going down. I had to hold Gael. I think I did it great when he was climbing, because it was so mechanical, but he weighs more than me so he lifted me up when he was going down.

Then we caught the bus and went to Irina's house. Upon arrival we were alone, and we played Monopoly (where I won, by the way) while we ate chocolate.

When we just saw a horror film, The Ring. Although at first I was about to take my dear headphones and hide under the blanket, I loved it and I was not scared at all.

In fact, I liked it so much that I proposed to see the second part, that although it was not as good, I really enjoyed it.

There are basically two types of horror movies, psychological horror and screamer. The first, to which belonged the two films, I've discovered that I like a lot and is based more on fear to the emotions of the characters, uncertainty and shadows. The second one I think it would be unable to see it because it scares more than anything else.

At the end of the film was 6 and we slept all. I did not sleep until 7, when it was morning and were Gael, Antía and Irina asleep.

Sábado, 7 de noviembre

Se suponía que hoy íbamos a volver a dormir en casa de Unni, sueca de Irina, pero nos íbamos a quedar solos por la noche así que no podíamos dormir ninguno allí (ni Irina), pero Elin se ofreció para acogernos. Así que cogimos el bus sobre las 4, cuando ya era de noche y solo habíamos desayunado. Compramos comida (chocolate para mí y pizza para ellos), sumado a los macarrones que había en casa.

Después de cenar, di la idea de ver otra película de terror psicológico, del cual he descubierto que es mi género cinematográfico preferido, así que vimos Paranormal Activity, que cuenta como a una pareja le pasan cosas raras por las noches, durante 21 dando más miedo cada vez.

Cuando llegó la última noche, el resto de españoles ya habían leído lo que pasaba en Wikipedia y estaban debajo de las mantas. Sin embargo, a mí me encantó y posiblemente lo pasara mejor que con la película de ayer, aunque el jueves estuviera convencido de que sería incapaz de ver una pequeña escena de una película de miedo.

Di la idea de ver la segunda parte, pero me tocará verlas solos porque ellos prefirieron quitarse el miedo viendo una de Disney, a la que no presté mucha atención. Sobre las 4 ya nos fuimos a dormir.

Saturday, November 7th

Today we were supposed to go back to sleep at Unni's house, Irina's Swedish partner, but we would be staying alone at night so we couldn't sleep there, but Elin offered her house for us. So we took the bus about 16h, when it was dark and we had only had breakfast. We bought food (chocolate for me and pizza for them), plus macaroni we had at home.

After dinner, I gave the idea to see another psychological horror movie, which I found to be my favorite film genre, so we saw Paranormal Activity, which tells the story of a couple's house where strange things happen for 21 nights, more frightening every time.

When the 21st night came, the rest of Spanish had already read what was going to happen in Wikipedia and were under the covers. However, I loved it and possibly more than yesterday one, though Thursday I was convinced that I would be unable to see a little scene from a horror movie.

I say the idea of ​​seeing the second part, but I'll have to see them on my own because they preferred to take the fear away watching a Disney movie, and I didn't pay much attention to it. Around 4h i finished and we went to sleep.

Domingo, 8 de noviembre

Hoy nos levantamos y fuimos a Norrtälje a jugar a los bolos con la familia de Hanna, sueca de Gael. No me apetecía estar más tiempo fuera de casa y tenía bastante camino hasta casa, así que al acabar me dirigí a Rindö.

Allí cené y me acosté temprano porque al día siguiente el padre de Amy no me podía llevar al instituto.

Sunday, November 8th

Today we got up and went to Norrtälje to go bowling with Hanna's family, Gael's Swedish partner. I didn't want to spend more time away from home and would have a long way home, so in the end I went to Rindö.

There I had dinner and went to bed early because the next day Amy's father couldn't take me to school.

Empezando noviembre // Starting november

Domingo, 1 de noviembre

Tocaba volver a despertarse en tierras suecas. Después de desayunar me puse a hacer el blog hasta que comimos.

Tras comer, fuimos a hacer fika (lo que viene a ser tomar café y comer algo dulce) a casa de los abuelos paternos de Amy, porque supuestamente era el día del padre. Cuando llegamos allí, nos confirmaron que era la semana que viene, pero por lo menos pude conocerlos. Me sorprendió bastante que supieran más o menos inglés.

Luego hicimos lo propio con los maternos y volvimos a casa tarde, cenamos y me acosté tarde. Se habían acabado las vacaciones.

Sunday, November 1st

It was time to wake up in Sweden again. After breakfast, I wrote on the blog until I ate.

After eating, we went to do fika (which is coffee and something sweet to eat) at Amy grandparent's because it was supposed to be the Father's Day. When we got there, they confirmed that it was next week, but at least I could meet them. I was shocked that they knew so much English.

Then we did the same with maternal ones and came home late, had dinner and went to bed late. The holidays were over.

Lunes, 2 de noviembre

Los lunes a primera duelen menos empezando con inglés. Esa profesora es genial, explica sin fallos y siempre nos anima y sube la moral.

Luego fuimos a hacernos unas fotos para el carné de la biblioteca. Luego tuvimos más de tres horas de descanso, donde tocó Täby Centrum como siempre.

Acabamos con biología, donde no hacemos nada porque la clase es completamente en sueco. Prefiero mil veces trabajar.

Volví a casa, cenamos y me acosté. Últimamente estoy todos los días cansado.

Monday, November 2nd

Mondays hurt less starting with English. The teacher is great, and explains flawlessly and always encourages us.

Then we went to make some pictures for the library card. Then we had three hours of rest, which we spend in Täby Centrum as usual.

We ended up with biology, where we do nothing because the class is completely in Swedish. I'd much rather work.

I went home, had dinner and went to bed. Lately I'm tired all day.

Martes, 3 de noviembre

Hoy empezamos con sueco, lo cual está bastante bien porque estamos los cuatro solos. Tuvimos matemáticas, donde estamos haciendo ejercicios por libre. Comimos cereales como siempre, y acabamos con biología y química, dos asignaturas que no me están gustando demasiado aquí.

Después de cenar, ya en casa, Amy me pidió que le enseñara Lugo en Google Maps (mi casa, el instituto...) y la verdad aunque me lo paso genial aquí, me chocó todo un poco y me puse nostálgico. Y es que parece mentira que ya vayan tres semanas.

Tuesday, November 3rd

Today we started with Swedish, which is pretty good because we are the four alone. We had mathematics where we are doing exercises for free. We ate cereal as always, and ended with biology and chemistry, two subjects that are not appealing me too much here.

After dinner, at home, Amy asked me to look for Lugo on Google Maps (home, school ...) and although I really enjoy being here, it shocked me around a lot and I got homesick. And it seems incredible that I've already been here three weeks.

Finlandia // Finland

Jueves, 29 de septiembre

Siempre he sentido una atracción especial por los países nórdicos, sobre todo por Finlandia y el finés. Cuando se lo comenté a mi familia sueca, no dudaron en llevarme allí en vacaciones. Amy no podía ir, por lo que me dijeron que invitase a Gael para no aburrirme. Así que fuimos los dos con la madre y la hermana pequeña de Amy.

Íbamos a coger un crucero desde Estocolmo. Nada más subir al barco, fuimos a nuestra habitación (es lo que tienen los barcos, que antes de llegar a tu destino ya estás en el "hotel"). Bastante pequeña, pero suficiente.

Se había hecho de noche, por lo que Gael y yo tuvimos total libertad para explorar el barco. Lo primero que hicimos fue obviamente, comprar chocolate (otra de mis obsesiones, el Milka en especial, que no había encontrado en toda Suecia hasta ese día).

Cenamos, dimos unas vueltas y dormimos rápido. Mañana sería un gran día.

Thursday, September 29th

I have always felt a special attraction for the Nordic countries, especially Finland and Finnish language. When I told that to my Swedish family, they didn't hesitate in taking me there on vacation. Amy could not go, so I was told to invite Gael so that I could avoid my own boredom. So we went both with Amy's mother and little sister.

We were going to take a cruise from Stockholm. As soon as we boarded the boat, we went to our room (it's what boats are supossed to be, are in the "hotel" before reaching your destination). Quite small but big enough.

It was night, so Gael and I had total freedom to explore the ship. The first thing we did was obviously buy chocolate (another of my obsessions, especially Milka, which I couldn`t found all over Sweden until that day).

We had dinner, we went for a walk and slept quickly. Tomorrow would be a great day.

Viernes, 30 de septiembre

El día de hoy probablemente ha sido el mejor junto al de los no-bolos desde que estoy aquí. Nada más desayunar, llegamos a Helsinki y vimos lo más cercano al puerto antes de comer (comí en un italiano en Finlandia con mi familia sueca, qué más se puede pedir).

La madre y hermana de Amy se iban a quedar por la calle de compras mientras Gael y yo íbamos a explorar solos Helsinki (sin duda la ciudad que más me ha gustado de todas las que he visitado). Solo teníamos cinco horas para ver lo máximo posible, así que solo vimos los edificios por fuera (impresionantes todos), pero a un ritmo suficientemente bueno como para pasar por casi todos los rincones de la capital de Finlandia.

Me había enamorado de Estocolmo, pero Helsinki está a un nivel muy superior. No sé cómo ni cuándo, pero tengo claro que volveré a Finlandia.

Friday, September 30th

Today was probably the best day alongside the non-bowling since I got here. Straight after breakfast, we visited the closest parts to the port in Helsinki before eating (I ate at an Italian in Finland with my Swedish family, what more could you ask).

Amy's mother and sister were going to be in the street shopping while Gael and I were alone exploring Helsinki (certainly the city that I liked most of all I visited). We only had five hours to watch as much as possible, so we only saw the buildings on the outside (all amazing), but walking quickly enough so that we could through almost every corner of Finland's capital city.

I had fallen in love with Stockholm, but Helsinki is at a much higher level. I don't know how or when, but I'll clearly come back to Finland.

Sábado, 31 de septiembre

Hoy tocó despedirse del barco nada más desayunar. Si fue muy duro dejar Helsinki, prefiero no pensar cómo será cuando vuelva a España.

Hoy por la noche (lo que vienen a ser las 5) tuvimos fiesta de Halloween en una casa de la pequeña isla en la que vivo. Me sorprendió bastante, porque todos los adultos iban perfectamente disfrazados y es una cosa que a mí no me atrae nada.

Aún así, estuvo bastante bien, conocí a gran parte del resto de residentes en Rindö y probé más postres típicos suecos. La verdad con tartas de chocolate duele menos (solo un poco menos) no estar en Helsinki.

Saturday, September 31st

Today we said goodbye to the boat after breakfast. If Helsinki was very hard to leave, I prefer not to think how it will be when I return to Spain.

Tonight (that means 17.00) we had a Halloween party at a house in the small island where I live. I was shocked, because all the adults were perfectly dressed and that's something that doesn't appeal me at all.

It was pretty good though, I met most of the other residents in Rindö and tried more traditional desserts. It hurts less with chocolate cakes (just a little less) not to be in Helsinki.

Semana de (no) relax // (Not so) Relaxing week

Antes de nada siento muchísimo llevar tanto sin escribir. Por mucho que esta semana fuera a ser de vacaciones, la verdad no he parado y he estado todos los días haciendo algo, y cuando tenía tiempo libre, siempre estaba demasiado cansado para hacer nada. Prometo intentar hacerlo más a menudo ahora.

Lunes, 26 de octubre

Me levanté bastante tarde debido al sueño acumulado de días anteriores. A la tarde íbamos a ir a un partido de fútbol, así que Amy y yo preparamos la cena nada más desayunar. Era una tarta de malvaviscos. La probamos antes de marcharnos y aunque le habíamos puesto menos de la mitad de malvaviscos de los que ponía en la receta, era imposible de cortar porque estaba demasiado pegajosa y sabía a azúcar puro.

Tras nuestro fracaso como cocineros, fuimos al Friends Arena (enorme estadio en Estocolmo), a ver jugar al AIK Solna. La verdad me dio bastante impresión, porque estaba abarrotadísimo. El equipo local (con el que se suponía que debía ir yo) perdió 1-2, pero aún así a mi familia sueca pareció no importarle demasiado. Otros aficionados estaban bastante enfadados, cosa que nunca lograré entender.

Llegamos a casa tarde, sin otra cosa que cenar que la tarta de pegamento malvaviscos.

First of all I'm so sorry for not having written in all this time. As much as this week was going to be holidays, I really have not stopped and I've been doing something every day, and when I had free time, I was always too tired to do anything. I promise to try to do it more often now.

Monday, October 26th

I got up quite late so I could sleep due to accumulated tiredness from previous days. In the afternoon we were going to a football game, so Amy and I prepared dinner just after we had breakfast. It was a marshmallow cake. We tested the cake before leaving and although we had put less than half of the marshmallows according to the recipe, it was impossible to cut because it was too sticky and tasted like only sugar.

After our failure as chefs, we went to Friends Arena (huge stadium in Stockholm), to watch AIK Solna team. It really gave me quite an impression, because it was extremely crowded. The home team (the one which I was supposed to support) lost 1:2, but  my Swedish family didn't seem to be unhappy. Other fans were very angry, something that I'll never be able to understand.

We arrived home late, with nothing to dinner but the glue marshmallows cake.

Martes, 27 de octubre

Hoy fuimos a un museo muy interesante con Antía y Elin, el Tomtits. Me recordó bastante a la Domus de La Coruña porque podías experimentar con todo. Las partes que más nos llamaron la atención fueron un tobogán que estaba diseñado de manera que al principio pensaras que era muy suave y luego se convertía en completamente vertical para acabar frenando justo a tiempo y una especie de salón de actos en forma de tabla periódica en la que te podías sentar en cada elemento.

Por lo demás el día transcurrió de forma completamente normal. Me puse a hacer Skype con mi familia antes de cenar y me acosté temprano.

Tuesday, October 27th

Today we went to a very interesting museum with Antía and Elin, the Tomtits. It reminded me a lot to the Domus in La Coruña because you could try everything. The best parts were a slide that was designed so that when you thought it was very  then became completely vertical and stoppedd holding back just in time and a kind of hall in the form of periodic table in which you could sit on each chemical element.

Otherwise the day went completely normal. I did Skype with my family before dinner and went to bed soon.

Miércoles, 28 de octubre

Al ser semana de vacaciones solo para estudiantes, los dos padres de Amy trabajaban hoy. Ella había quedado con unas amigas, su hermano iba a jugar al fútbol y la hermana pequeña se iba a quedar en casa de su tía. Así que de manera que no quemase la casa al tener que hacer yo la comida, quedé con Antía que estaba exactamente en la misma situación que yo. Gael iba a ver un museo con su familia e Irina estaba en Noruega, así que los dos nos pasamos solos toda la tarde.

Llegó un poco más tarde de lo previsto porque quedamos en la parada de bus y se había perdido. Me alegraba saber que no soy la única persona con nulo sentido de la orientación.

Fuimos a comer al McDonalds (¿a dónde si no?) y estuvimos toda la tarde en el Täby Centrum viendo vídeos y escuchando música.

Dejo aquí una "obra maestra" que escuchamos toda la tarde.

Wednesday, October 28th

It was a vacation week only for students, so both parents of Amy worked today. She was going to meet some friends, her brother would play football and her little sister was staying at her aunt's house. So that I didn't burn the whole house cooking, I met Antía, who was exactly in the same situation as me. Gael was gong to visit a museum with his family and Irina was in Norway, so we both spent alone all afternoon.

She arrived a little later than planned because we were meeting on the bus stop and she get lost. I was glad to know I'm not the only person with no sense of direction.

We went to eat at McDonalds (where else?) And spent all afternoon in the Täby Centrum watching videos and listening to music.
